Garden – Shade Friendly Beauties❣️

In the backyard, there’s a magnificent tree that generously casts shade over most of the space, except during the season when it sheds its leaves, allowing sunlight to stream in. Because of this natural cycle, the majority of plants here are shade-loving varieties, thriving in the cooler, filtered light.

Here’s a glimpse of the stars of my shade garden:

  1. Hydrangea – With its lush, voluminous blooms, hydrangea brings elegance to the shady corners.
  2. Ferns – These delicate, feathery greens are perfect for adding a soft, natural touch.
  3. Coleus – With its stunning, colorful foliage, coleus provides a pop of color even in low light.
  4. Palms – These resilient tropical beauties give the garden a calm, zen-like feel.
  5. Impatiens – Known for their cheerful blooms, impatiens brighten up any shaded area effortlessly.

In the patches where the sunlight sneaks through, I’ve planted Salvia and other sun-loving florals to make the most of those bright spots. I can’t wait to see how this space fills out in the coming months as the plants grow and settle in. I’ll definitely share updates when they do! 🌿

If you’re planning a shade garden or have areas with limited sunlight, these plants are a great place to start. They not only thrive in the shade but bring a beautiful, serene vibe to your outdoor space.

Btw, for something to thrive and be beautiful it needs to be the environment that is best suited for that purpose. Are you in an environment that allows you to thrive and flourish?

Stay tuned for more garden updates!

Much love,

R
